  • Product and trend/brand design, specializing in building brand/product alignment for boutique brands​. Current clients include: Flora Grubb, Tupelo, and Wilde goods.

HEAD DESIGN MANAGER INTERIOR CONCEPTS & DECORATIVE ACCESSORIES. SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA

2011-2013

  • Interior conceptualization of all Pottery Barn Kids room concepts. Work closely with EVP design to drive aesthetic direction season after season making sure all categories(furniture, textiles, lighting, wall art and utility)align and inspire.

  • Led all aspects of trend, design and process for Pottery Barn Kids decorative accessories. Product categories include an extensive gear collection(50M annual sales in backpacks and diaper bags), all products to decorate and create magical bedrooms, play spaces and nurseries, seasonal products, baby accessories and gifting.

  • Managed team of 10, responsible for calendar, budget, and elaborate visual presentations. Inspire originality and creativity from designers. Mentor new and experienced team.

  • Sourced and developed original big marketing and product categories. Grow the business 22% YTY

  • Worked closely with Merchandising/Sales team to create exciting, highly salable collections.

  • Market research, travel and create trend and color direction boards and present to executive team.

  • Worked directly with and travel to factories in India, Philippines, and China.

  • Led all aspects of design and pre-production of men's accessories for Australia's leading iconic retail brands Country Road and Trenery. Product categories include an extensive footwear line, leather bags, belts, small leather goods, soft accessories, all-non apparel and gifting.

  • Managed team of 6, responsible for calendar and budget.Inspire and mentor team.

  • Sourced and developed original, “luxurious” components.

  • Market research, travel and create trend and color direction boards and present to executive team.

  • Oversaw pre-production, travel to factories in China and India.

  • Collaborated with production team to create value-driven fashion and lift margin points by 12%.

  • Creative force behind twenty two shoes, a luxury shoe and accessory brand.

  • Conceptualized full collections; developed styles and lasts; sourced and developed original leathers, accessories and trims. Attended Lineapelle and Micam.

  • Close working relationships with factories in Italy and Los Angeles to produce high quality collection of shoes and handbags. Sourced and oversaw all aspects of production.

  • Collaborated with graphic designer and web designer to create all marketing materials.

  • Worked with sales force to get collection into 50+ better boutiques throughout the US and Canada including Louis Boston, Madison/Fred Segal and Shopbop.

  • Collaborated with press agent to get continuous coverage in top fashion magazines such as Instyle, Lucky, Real Simple as well as many fashion blogs such as Gretchen’s Closet.

  • Opened, designed and managed three high profile retail locations in Bay area and Los Angeles. Celebrity clientele including Brad Pitt, Sienna Miller, Justin Timberlake, and Penelope Cruz.

1998-1999

  • Conceptualized women’s line, focusing on fashion and technical outerwear; leather and woven outerwear, dresses and shirts.

  • Presented C.E.O. and VP’s strong concepts for the “Warmest Jacket” and “Warmest Vest” which generated $60 million in sales.

  • Worked with pattern-makers, tech designers and overseas agents to get high quality product.

  • Worked closely with visual design team to optimally showcase product in retail environment.

  • Created innovative collections and fashion shows each season at ENK and m.a.g.i.c. trade shows.
